Our attorneys have successfully litigated cases in the state and federal courts across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
and beyond. Our litigators also have a wealth of experience in arbitrating, mediating and negotiating the resolution of
complex disputes where alternative dispute resolution is appropriate.

Commercial Litigation is our expertise at MN&P. Our attorneys have successfully resolved virtually every type of commercial
dispute that a business may encounter. Our litigation team has prosecuted and defended cases involving asset
purchase agreements, partnership and joint venture agreements, and contracts of any type. We also have experience in the
business tort arena, including litigating claims involving tortious interference with contractual and advantageous relations and conspiracy.
We have depth in the areas of misappropriation of corporate opportunities, oppression of minority shareholders, and other
types of disputes between business owners and executives. Our attorneys routinely obtain injunctive and other forms of
prejudgment relief for our clients in those business disputes that require immediate court intervention.

Our Construction Litigation practice offers advice and representation on all aspects of private and public construction
projects, including, but not limited to, contract negotiation, construction disputes, lien and surety claims, and regulatory
compliance. Our clients include owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

We have successfully prosecuted and defended cases involving breach of confidentiality, non-competition, and non-solicitation
agreements. Again, our attorneys seek and obtain injunctive relief enforcing restrictive covenants where appropriate.
We counsel and represent clients in theft of trade secret cases, as well as cases concerning wages, hours, working conditions,
discrimination and harassment. We appear before the MCAD and courts across the Commonwealth on employment discrimination and
harassment matters. Because we have represented both employees and employers, we are able to counsel our clients regarding the
opportunities and pitfalls both sides face.
Our attorneys also routinely advise our clients regarding changes in employment laws where appropriate.

Our Real Estate and Land Use Litigation practice complements our Real Estate transactional practice in many ways. We have
experience in zoning and land use, the enforcement of purchase and sale agreements, cellular tower citing, title defense,
landlord-tenant, and the subdivision of land. Our real estate attorneys are extremely knowledgeable regarding the intricacies
of real estate law having published several articles in prominent publications, including some published by MCLE to educate
and train other attorneys.
We are as comfortable in front of local boards as we are handling appeals in court. We understand that delay is particularly
costly in real estate transactions and move matters promptly to settlement or trial.
